The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) Fundraising Christmas Dinner
Beirut, Lebanon –December 17, 2009

In a magical ambiance, the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) held a Fundraising Christmas Dinner on December 17th, 2009 at the Pavillon Royal- BIEL. All the proceeds from this event went to the treatment of children struck with cancer.

While it was pouring with rain outside, it was warm and joyful inside with over 800 distinguished guests all gathered for our noble cause: members of the Board of Trustees and their guests, officials, VIPs and kind supporters all initially enjoyed a unique performance by Les Petits Chanteurs a la Croix de Bois; following a warm welcome by our master of ceremony Ms. Joumana Bou Eid.

Mr. Salim Zeenni greeted the guests and gave homage to one of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (in Memphis, Tennessee, USA) and CCCL’s major founders: the late Richard C. Shadyac Sr. Then, he thanked all the guests for their presence and kind support while stressing on the continuous need for donations to be able to sustain our cancerous children.

With the compliments of Comte de M, our guests were enchanted by the Belcanto singers’ performances which were really exceptional and captivating.
In addition to that, our guests had the opportunity to participate in CCCL’s Draw of Hope which included valuable prizes: namely, rare and unique jewelry items by Nada Le Cavalier, Gemayel Jewelry, and Sarah’s Bag and Mazda Mx5!

Finally, the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) would like to, once again, thank all the donors who have continuously supported our noble cause.
