CrossTalk’s Give Yourself to Others for the CCCL

CrossTalk, a non-for profit ecumenical Christian education program based in Rabweh, Lebanon organized a special event: Give Yourself to Others which aimed at donating hair to the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon’s (CCCL) cancer kids.
The event took place on Sunday November 29th, 2009, at Le Royal Hotel whereby volunteers from all over Lebanon gathered to have their hair cut and donated to the CCCL.

On December 28th, 2009 a group from CrossTalk visited the CCCL with a big box of hair to be sent for wigs manufacturing and ultimately distributed to our beautiful girls and young ladies at the center.
CCCL General Manger, Mrs. Hana Choueib and Ms. Karen Khoury greeted and toured with the group while explaining the facilities at the CCCL; in addition to the importance of having wigs given to our young ladies at the CCCL.

The guests were truly touched and impressed by the work being done; and expressed the continuous enthusiasm and motivation towards constantly supporting the CCCL through hair donations among other support mechanisms.

The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) sincerely thanks CrossTalk and everyone who volunteered in donating his/her hair in support of our patients.
