Mr. Abdul Rahim Mrad Visits the CCCL
March 1st, 2010
Being one of the supporters of CCCL kids, H.E. Mr. Abdul
Rahim Mrad showed his interest in visiting the center on
March 1st, 2010 to get a closer picture of how our daily
operation flows.
His Excellency was welcomed by the CCCL students, CCCL
Medical Director, Dr. Miguel R. Abboud; Director of
Volunteers, Mrs. Christiane Makarem; Mr. Hassan Daouk, CCCL
volunteer responsible for the school program, CCCL
administrative and nursing staff as well as patients.
After informing him of CCCL patients’ good results in the
Lebanese Official Exams, Mr. Mrad acknowledged the need to
encourage them to continue higher education; so, till now,
12 of our patients are offered scholarships to study at his
university, the Lebanese International University (LIU) in
different majors.
Everyone at the CCCL, especially our dear patients, thank
His Excellency again for the great support.
