The
Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), established in
Beirut, Lebanon, is a unique regional center for the
comprehensive treatment of pediatric cancer. An affiliate of
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee
(St. Jude), the center works in close association with The
American University of Beirut, Medical Center (AUBMC).
The CCCL covers all costs of care beyond those reimbursable
by third party payments and total costs when the latter are
not available. The CCCL depends on donations, and its
ability to fulfill its mission is constrained by the
availability of funds at its disposal.
Our Vision
All children with cancer in Lebanon should have access to
the latest cancer treatment regardless of their ability to
pay.
Our Mission
To maintain a state of the art center for treating and
curing children with cancer in the Lebanon, at no costs to
patients and without any discrimination.
To collaborate with other pediatric cancer care centers in
Lebanon and the Arab world.
The Center opened it doors on the 12th of April, 2002. The
center is located in building 56 of AUBMC with an Outpatient
Facility on the ground floor and an Inpatient Facility on
the fourth floor.
