The Children’s
Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), established in Beirut-
Lebanon, is a unique regional center for the comprehensive
treatment of pediatric cancer.
An affiliate of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in
Memphis, Tennesse- U.S.A, the center works in close
association with the American University of Beirut Medical
Center (AUBMC).
The CCCL depends on donations, and its ability to fulfill
its mission is constrained by the availability of funds at
its disposal.
The CCCL covers all costs of care beyond those reimbursable
by third party payments and the total costs when the latter
are not available.
CCCL Vision
To provide access to free treatment and care to all children
with cancer in Lebanon and the region, without any
discrimination.
CCCL Mission
To support all children with cancer and their families
through:
- Securing funds to ensure access to the latest treatment,
regardless of ability to pay
- Delivering psychosocial services to help fight the disease
- Providing education to create better understanding and
awareness
The CCC L opened its doors on the 12th of April, 2002, and
has two facilities: an Outpatient Facility located in
building 56 of AUBMC; and an Inpatient Facility on the same
building’s forth floor.
