Ahmed, my 17-year-old son, has always been the apple of my eye, and I eagerly awaited his transition into adulthood so I could rely on him. He's a polite young man, beloved by everyone in our village, from his family to his teachers. He has a kind heart, gentle manners, generosity, and ambition. Planning for his future has always been one of his top priorities. He's been relentless in his efforts and determination to achieve his goals, and I've always stood by his side to help him realize his dreams. I was overjoyed the day he received an excellent score of an average of 17/20 in his high school certificate, and we began planning his future together.

I was eagerly anticipating his graduation from the University of Jannah with a degree in Business Administration. However, on May 2, 2023, Ahmed suddenly fainted and was rushed to the American University Hospital in Beirut. After medical examinations, it was revealed that he had been diagnosed with leukemia. Fate had its way, and our happiness vanished, and our dreams were shattered. The battle with this malignant illness began. Ahmed, the hero, resisted and endured the pain with faith and patience.
