Qatar "Just Thanks" Awareness & Networking Event 2023

The awareness event was held at The Lebanese Embassy in Qatar, aiming to gather CCCL’s donors in Qatar to thank them and build personal relationships with them.

The event also featured a panel discussion, moderated by CCCL’s General Manager, Mrs. Hana Chaar Choueib. The panelists included Mr. Paul Edde, CCCL’s Member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Jabor Al Thani, Founder and Chairman of Qatar Cancer Society, Dr. Rayana Bou Haka, WHO representative for WHO country office in the State of Qatar, Mr. Bernard Diab, a father of a 3-year-old patient Rafael who passed away, and Mr. Raymond Geara, a cancer survivor.

Guests were then in admiration of Ms. Mariam Murr’s testimony where she shared how she battled cancer at 4 and a half years old and how she was able to conquer it thanks to CCCL. 

Celebrity artists Evan and Bashir took the stage with a beautiful violin and piano shows, entertaining the attendees, followed by a live band entertainment and Fairuziyat.
