CCCL Attends the World Cancer Congress in Geneva
As a proud member of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), CCCL had the distinct honor of attending the World Cancer Congress (WCC) held in Geneva, September 2024. This global event gathers leaders, professionals, and experts in the field of oncology, united by a shared commitment to advancing the fight against cancer.

A key highlight of the Congress took place on Tuesday, the 17th, when CCCL’s General Manager and UICC Board Member, Mrs. Hana Chaar Choueib, took the stage to deliver a powerful address. Speaking to civil societies, officials, and healthcare professionals from across the MENA region, Mrs. Choueib passionately emphasized the importance of global collaboration in the fight for better cancer control. She strongly advocated for Universal Health Coverage, reiterating that every patient, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the right to access life-saving treatment.
