CCCL was represented by Imad Elhajje, PR and External Affairs Team Leader, and Iman Janoun, Employee Experience Coordinator, reaffirming the Center’s commitment to global collaboration and advancing childhood cancer care.
Throughout the week, Imad and Iman took part in sessions covering key topics such as survivorship, psychosocial support, equitable access to essential and emerging medicines, advocacy, caregiver empowerment, and innovative fundraising approaches. The conference offered a valuable platform to strengthen CCCL’s international relationships and learn from global leaders and NGOs working toward improved childhood cancer control.
Their participation also allowed them to exchange best practices related to survivorship programs, caregiver support, nutrition, psychoeducation, and advocacy strategies. They also explored new solutions for improving access to affordable treatment and essential medicines in low and middle income countries, while gaining insights into HR development, organizational culture, and strategic external affairs to further enhance CCCL’s internal capacity.
The knowledge gained during this international event will contribute directly to CCCL’s mission of improving access to treatment, supporting families throughout their journey, and ensuring that every child receives comprehensive, high quality care. This experience strengthens CCCL’s services, expands global partnerships, and reinforces its dedication to representing Lebanon’s childhood cancer community on the international stage.
