Sarah Wehbe, Patients Relations Coordinator at CCCL, was representing the Center throughout this international gathering. She contributed to the program by presenting on the importance of communication, trust, and patient-centered care, and by opening the session titled “Educating for Empowerment: Communication and Patient Navigation in Cancer Care.” During her presentation, she highlighted CCCL’s programs, achievements, and initiatives supporting children with cancer and their families.

The workshop in Doha offered a rich and inspiring environment, bringing together NGOs from around the world to exchange knowledge, explore innovative approaches to patient support, and discuss global advancements in cancer care. Sarah also took part in Relay for Life, a powerful community walk that celebrates survivors, honors loved ones, and spreads hope across Qatar.

In Muscat, the Congress brought together global experts, advocates, and changemakers committed to improving cancer care and advancing health equity. Sarah also joined the Oman Cancer Association’s annual Walkathon, an uplifting event dedicated to raising awareness and promoting cancer prevention.

CCCL is grateful for the opportunity to be present on this international platform, connecting with global leaders, exchanging valuable insights, and strengthening the collective mission of improving the lives of cancer patients and their families.
