The gathering brought together survivors and families from several countries, creating a meaningful opportunity for connection, cultural exchange, and shared hope.

The journey began in Bursa before continuing to Istanbul, where survivors were warmly welcomed through various cultural and celebratory activities. Bashar’s mother expressed how touched they were by the care and support provided throughout the trip, especially highlighting the thoughtful gestures that made participants feel appreciated and included.

One of the most memorable moments was a joyful celebration aboard a boat on the Marmara Sea, bringing together survivors and families in an atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and hope. Throughout the event, Bashar proudly represented Lebanon and CCCL by carrying the CCCL flag and wearing the CCCL pin, reflecting the strength and resilience of childhood cancer survivors in Lebanon.

Bashar and his mother expressed their sincere gratitude for this unforgettable experience and for the support they received throughout the event. CCCL also extends its heartfelt appreciation to LÖSEV for organizing this meaningful international gathering and creating special moments of hope, connection, and celebration for survivors and their families.

At CCCL, we remain committed not only to supporting children throughout their treatment journey, but also to celebrating survivorship, hope, and the bright futures our children continue to build every day.
