There are moments in life that stop you completely. Moments so small, so ordinary, yet so powerful that they quietly stay with you forever.

Remi, or as we lovingly call her, Riri, is only four years old.
Four years old.
An age where life should be about scraped knees from playground adventures, cartoons before bedtime, tiny shoes running through hallways, and little hands holding crayons instead of hospital bracelets.
But for Remi, life had different plans.
Today, this little girl is fighting leukemia.
Her days are no longer filled only with toys and laughter. They are filled with treatments, needles, medications, hospital rooms, and battles no child should ever have to understand.
Cancer tried to interrupt her childhood.
It tried to replace carefree days with difficult ones.
It tried to fill her world with fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty.
But there is one thing it could never take from her.
Her light.
Because somehow, despite everything she carries on those tiny shoulders, Remi still walks into rooms with a smile that reaches everyone around her. She still laughs. She still loves. She still finds reasons to bring comfort to others, even while fighting a battle of her own.
One day, while playing Janga with a member of our team, something simple happened.
The tower suddenly collapsed.
The wooden blocks scattered everywhere.
Before the employee could even react, little Remi immediately leaned forward and started gathering the pieces with her tiny hands.
As she picked them up one by one, she looked up with a smile and softly said:
"Don't worry. We can build them again. I will help you with this."
Then she paused for a second, looked and added:
"It’s easier when we do it together."
And suddenly, in that ordinary moment, the room became quiet.
Because without realizing it, this four year old little girl had just said something much bigger than herself.
She wasn't only talking about wooden blocks.
She was talking about life.
Because life does fall apart sometimes.
Dreams break.
Plans change.
Pain arrives unexpectedly and shakes everything we thought was certain.
And yet somehow, children like Remi teach us what many adults spend years trying to learn:
That rebuilding is possible.
That hope can exist even after heartbreak.
That strength is not always loud.
Sometimes strength looks like tiny hands picking up fallen pieces.
Sometimes it looks like a child smiling through pain.
Sometimes it looks like someone choosing joy when they have every reason not to.
While fighting for her own life, Remi still chooses kindness.
She still chooses positivity.
She still finds the strength to comfort others.
She still chooses light.
That kind of courage cannot be measured.
Because resilience isn't about never falling.
It's about finding the strength to keep rebuilding, over and over again, while still keeping love inside your heart.
Remi reminds us that even the smallest hands can carry the biggest hope.
Today, you can help protect that hope.
