UICC Board Meeting in Geneva

The Union of International Cancer Control (UICC) Board of directors held its first in-person meeting on May 17 till 19, 2022 since its last one in 2019, in Geneva Switzerland, with directors from all over the world.

We are proud to announce that CCCL UK's director and the General Manager of our sister charity CCCL in Lebanon Mrs. Hana El Chaar, was the only regional representative of the Middle East. The meeting discussed topics related to cancer control, advocacy, awareness, and access to medication. This is the last board meeting before World Cancer Congress 2022.

We look forward to more meetings and discussions for the advancement of Childhood Cancer Control.

Mrs. Hana Chaar Choueib, CCCL UK Ltd’s Director, Mrs. Hana El Chaar, won the UICC Best CEO Award and was re-elected to the UICC Board of Directors for another 2-year term.
