Un Concert pour Guérir: Music, Memory, and Mission

Before an audience of around 250 guests, the evening unfolded as a seamless blend of artistic excellence and emotional resonance. What made this concert truly special was not only the selection of musical masterpieces, from Fauré and Bizet to Marcel Khalifé, but the personal testimony of Georges Daccache, who shared his own journey with cancer. His words, paired with the thoughtful choice of compositions, created an atmosphere of profound emotion and unity.

The evening began with a sophisticated performance of captivating flute and piano duets that skillfully combined the rich, expressive sounds of Middle Eastern music with Western classical masterpieces. With her exquisite performances of Zyman, Gaubert, and Borne's works, Ana Suhaila captivated the audience. She did it with both technical mastery and genuine emotion. Beyond its musical brilliance, the event had a deeper meaning. It was a fundraiser for children in Lebanon who are fighting cancer. In Lebanon, access to basic medical treatment is becoming more and more threatened due to a deteriorating economic crisis.

The night was a beautiful mission to heal. With all profits and donations going directly toward providing free, high quality care for children in need, every note and every moment of the concert joined together to assist the Children's Cancer Center of Lebanon. Fifty donation cards were filled out on the spot, demonstrating the participants' generosity, and the support is still growing. We were all reminded by this remarkable evening of the amazing ability of art to bring people together, heal, and inspire hope. CCCLF is extremely grateful of everyone who came, gave a donation, and especially the artists whose work turned this evening into an amazing show of strength, influence, and compassion.
